Pelican Bay residents have expressed a desire for more exercise space and parking at the Community Center as well a need for pickleball courts in Pelican Bay. The Pelican Bay Foundation responded with a 12 million dollar proposed renovation to the Community Center that addresses the need for more exercise space and meeting space.
This project was unfortunately done during our Covid-19 lockdown with minimal public knowledge and participation. The increase in use should require additional parking which is not addressed and does not include pickleball.
Your PBPOA Board is concerned that a short delay may be needed to give the owners an opportunity to digest the recommendations and participate in the solution.
