What is expected of a board member?

PBPOA is losing members for 2 reasons:
1. Dues are too high…. the PBPOA is not delivering on its value proposition for $50….dues should be rolled back to $35.
2. PBPOA is perceived as INEFFECTIVE in advocating for the property owners to the PBSD and the PBF and the Fire District in regards to service delivery, property values and assessments. The focus on Red Tide is perceived as “esoteric” since there is not an immediate impact on property values or property taxes.

I agree with the comment keeping the pathways asphalt.

Thanks for your efforts and reporting on these matters.

Because of the number of trees along the pathways, asphalt is a better choice for repaving. Tree roots displace the concrete upward, which creates ledges for people to trip. Roots also displace asphalt but it is more elastic and more easily repaired.
I agree, the dues are too high which discourages membership.
