Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer Raia gave a financial report for 2017 year-end, with total assets at the end of 2017 being $189,175.12.
Treasure Raia explained that the one goal of the PBPOA for 2018 is to increase membership. Many former members have either moved or passed away. Two membership initiatives will be used. The first is an Ambassador Program, where members from each individual neighborhood within Pelican Bay will be recruited to contact fellow residents by sending out an e-mail letter encouraging residents to join the PBPOA. The second is to offer free one year memberships to new residents of Pelican Bay. The hope is that after having received free membership from the PBPOA for the first year, owners will be willingto pay their membership the following year. Treasure Raia also noted that enhanced communications have been implemented.
Community Reports
Resident Hank Rossi gave a presentation on the Crayton Road Initiative. If members are interested in learning more about this topic he urged them to email him at hankro@aol.com.
President Sanchez gave a report regarding Communications. He said that the PBPOA is the voice of the homeowners and the PBPOA strives to keep open lines of communication with members.
